Mmm...Trifle

The women of my Bible Study decided to have a tea and we all brought things and I decided to make this yummy trifle, this post is mainly for my mom...but everyone else can enjoy too!

Here are some pictures of our new place in Lake Forest, this was before we moved in.  We are continuing to get settled, but for the time being, as many friends cannot come to visit, here are some pictures. 

This is a small view outside our front door.  It sure is quiet here, we hear birds chirping!

This our kitchen with a bay window outside and a nice open window into the dining area.  This is my favorite room in our place!

This is the dining area, these are not our stools, but the owner graciously gave them to us.  We use them when extra company comes over.  This is our bathroom and that's it!  It's a quaint place that we love and are so grateful for!

dedicated to my hubby :)

This is a silly post that will be dedicated to my hubby..."GO COWBOYS!"      

You guys probably don't know how big of a fan my hubby is, but he LOVES the Cowboys.  Needless to say, I'm beginning to be converted to a fan as well.  Most of you know, I don't really care too much about football, but now being married...I must admit that my heart is turning toward the Cowboys, as it continues to turn toward my hubby.  =)  They are in the playoffs, which means that things are pretty intense in our place...my hubby wears his Cowboys sweatshirt, hat and carries his Cowboys football around the house, it's actually kinda cute and funny. 

GO ROMO!!  Although Romo is the quarterback I have to say that I really like #31 Roy Williams.  He is one of the nicest guys, I watched an interview with him and he is involved in a lot of organizations that helps people and he leads the league in community service.  He gets "two thumbs up" from me...I like nice pro athletes.

We were fortunate to stay at the Westin in Maui and LOVED it.  It was beautiful and we had a great time!!   

These are pictures of the hotel area...they had flamingos, parrots, a water slide and was decorated for Christmas.  It was so pretty.  The ocean was literally 20 feet from the hotel, it was so nice to walk through the lobby of the hotel (which was mainly outside anyway) and land at the beach! 

This is us at our favorite place...Mama's Fish House.  It was SUPER YUMMY!!  We also went to a luau that was nice and it had a great show that told the history of Hawaii.  There's so much more, but not enough room...I will post more soon.    Thanks for viewing!
